Financial conditions just break us

It was a nice day,
Then I went home.
I saw my mother crying,
Crying over unpaid loans…

I know she’s suffering;
I don’t get mad when she yells.
She loves jewellery,
but for us,
I watched her sell…

She lost everything,
Yet she smiles when we smile.
And for our happiness,
She would walk a million miles…

Seeing her struggle,
How could I sit at ease?
Now I’m searching for work,
To support my family’s needs…

But who will give a job to a teenager,
A kid like me?
No strong background,
Just my mother and me…

The world Favors the rich,
Or those with good ties.
No one helps people like us,
That’s why we must rise…

No guidance, no support,
Yet we carve our way.
Some win, some lose,
But the world calls us losers stray…

I keep my pain hidden,
So no one hears my screams.
I choose survival,
and Compulsions over my dreams…

No one helps when you’re struggling,
But once you rise, they appear.
When I laughed, they stayed,
When I cried, they disappeared…

Now I don’t want anyone,
Silence doesn’t mean I’m rude.
But watching my mother cry,
Feels like a thousand wounds…
No matter how happy my day,
By night, my reality looms.
Financial burdens break us Like a storm.
A storm that never moves…
